Infrared heating

Radiant heating panels (infrared panels) operate on the principle of radiant heating. Thanks to the surface treatment and even distribution of temperature on the surface of the panel, the maximum proportion of energy is transmitted in the form of radiation. On the contrary, the amount of heat transmitted by convection heating is low. Convection heating primarily heats up air. The thermal radiation heats walls, ceilings, floors and objects in the room, which subsequently heat the air. By contrast, conventional heating systems heat the air in the room. Pleasant feeling of warmth throughout the whole room in infrared heating systems is achieved at a temperature lower by 2–4 °C in comparison to traditional convectional heating, which brings significant energy savings.

Formation of layers of air with different temperatures is avoided eliminating the need for frequent ventilation. The use of radiant heating panels prevents swirling of dust and ensures minimum loss of moisture. The brickwork is gradually desiccated and acquires better heat accumulation properties. Condensation of moisture in the brickwork is avoided, which helps to eliminate mould. Infrared panels installed on the ceiling do not take up any space in the room. Thanks to simple regulation of temperature achieved by thermostats, each room can be heated to a different temperature according to the requirements of the users. The temperature difference between the floor and ceiling of the room does not exceed 2 °C. Due to the use of cheaper heating tariffs, significant electricity bill savings can be achieved also when using other electrical appliances.

Principles of infrared heating the air in the room

Radiant heating (infrared heating) works on the same principle as the sun. By contrast, traditional heating systems heat the air in the room. As the warm air rises, turbulence occurs, dust particles become burnt and the temperature difference between the floor and the ceiling reaches up to 10 °C. When using heating panels, the heat radiates downwards heating up the brickwork, the floor and objects in the room, which subsequently heat the air in the room. Pleasant feeling of warmth evenly distributed throughout the whole room is achieved at a temperature lower by 2–4 °C in comparison to traditional convectional heating, which brings significant energy savings.
The temperature difference between the floor and ceiling of the room does not exceed 2 °C.

  • A well insulated house – e.g. ytong or porotherm bricks insulated with at least 8 cm thick polystyrene
  • A moderately insulated house – e.g. ytong or porotherm bricks without external thermal insulation; a house built of solid brick with walls 45 cm thick
  • A poorly insulated house – concrete panels with no thermal insulation, brick walls up to 30 cm thick, moist brickwork

Heat mats

Heat mats are intended for local heating, mainly for warming-up of animal beds. They are used for breeding animals including piglets, puppies, etc. It is commonly used to improve thermal comfort in dog kennels. They are used for cats and other warmth-loving animals. They can also be used at cold workplaces for keeping your workers’ feet warm.

  • warmth positively affects animal health, it significantly reduces animal mortality rates
  • uniform temperature across the entire floor area and low power consumption
  • simple installation and easy maintenance
  • long service life

  3. 2×0.75 cable with an optional fork The product has a standard protection rating of IP 67

Bathroom Dryer

A bathroom dryer will ensure optimum temperature in your bathroom. It will also dry wet towels or clothing. You can regulate the temperature in the room by a thermostat and turn on the heating only when using the bathroom. Radiant heat dries up the brickwork and helps to eliminate mould.
